Nick Letourneau Nick Letourneau (Guitar, Backup Vocals, Harmonica) was originally inspired to play guitar at the age of 10 from watching David Cassidy who starred in the 1970's television show The Partridge Family. He negotiated a deal with his parents to do extra chores around the house then received an acoustic guitar and a Mel Bay instructional book in lieu of pay. Plagued with a short attention span and weak fingers, his interest in playing guitar soon waned. In the early 1980's, He was stationed at Edwards AFB and met someone in the barracks who had a guitar and knew a few chords. His interest in playing guitar was sparked again.

Fast forward to the 1990's,-- Nick's industrious wife decides to further her education and pursue her Master's Degree, and he is left home alone with his guitar. He had heard about the Commercial Music Program offered at the Antelope Valley Community College and decided to check it out. He joined the AVCC Garage Band and eventually made the cut and was allowed to join the auspicious AVCC Test Flight Band. Since leaving Test Flight, he has sat in with many local musicians at their performances and been in a few bands that never jelled. He responded to an ad that he found on a musician referral web-site and was offered a position in Aftershox.

Nick's Musical Goals

"Music is a hobby for me. It is an enigma that I will never conquer. While music can be complex, it can also be fun and therapeutic. That's what I'm in it for. There are few experiences more exhilarating than being in a deep groove with the rest of the band then looking around into the crowd and seeing that what you are doing is affecting people. My musical goal is to continue learning at a pace that keeps it fun."
